And I was surprised at how relatively decent even the cheaper stuff is. I had been led to believe that this was nasty business best avoided, so of course I just had to buy some of the cheapest I could find. Sure, I can't even in my most diplomatic mood call that good, but it wasn't all that bad either. And the slightly more expensive kinds can be pretty good, especially since they're handy when you really don't want to buy a bottle. I’ve had a few cup sake in my travels.
